[Have a somewhat weirded-out Dana. This kid's reaction isn't anything she ever imagined.]

I don't think anything you did- built?- got you here. This city pulls in people. Here's more information. [ guide!]

I haven't seen this Ferb around, but there are a lot of people I haven't met and even more new arrivals, so if he's here, hopefully he'll see this. Or you'll see him on the network.

I've heard that time at home freezes for us while we're here, so no matter how long you stay, you should always be back for dinner.

There's a guide? Cool! [he'll read it in a minute.]

I guess I'll just keep an eye out. Thanks.

So is this like some kind of pocket dimension? Since time doesn't pass outside of it. I guess that's kind of the opposite of a typical pocket dimension, but.

You're welcome.

...I guess it's like a pocket dimension, maybe? Do you have experience with enough pocket dimensions to know what's typical?

[Even more weirded out. But hey, at least the kid is taking everything well!]

Cool! Not yet. It's on the to-do list, though!

To-do list.

Sorry if this is a weird question, but are you an alien?

That is kind of a weird question. I don't really look like one. But to answer it anyway, I'm just a normal boy.

Where I'm from, aliens that look just like humans aren't exactly unheard-of, and I just met a human-looking alien from a different universe yesterday. So, I just wanted to be sure.

Your world must be pretty advanced.

Really? That's pretty neat.

It might be. I've never been to another world before. At least, not like it sort of says in this guide thing. Maybe we should add that to the list!

I've been told that it takes a lot of practice and effort to go back to your own world; it might be even harder to go to a different one.

You're taking this pretty well.

Yea, I can see that. I'm sure there's a way.

Well, yea! It's like an adventure! I wish Ferb was here, though. He'd really like it too.

It's more dangerous than most adventures. But, if you're careful, you can probably have fun.

I hope Ferb's here, too. It's lonely when there's nobody you know from home.

Sorry, I didn't introduce myself, did I? I'm Dana Tan.

[Smile. His cheerfulness is infectious.]

Nice to meet you, too, Phineas.

Do you need a place to stay?

I guess so. At least, for a little bit. [he could probably build a place, but it would go a lot slower without Ferb.]

The guide includes a map, which shows where the Welcome Houses are. They're set up for new arrivals. Do you need help finding the nearest one?

Nah, I think I'm good. Thanks anyway!
