There's being cautious and there's assuming that every stranger who approaches you means you harm. I try not to be like that, but it's easier when you're not all alone in a strange place.
But enough about my problems. How are you adjusting?
Sometimes trusting others can keep you safer. The trick is knowing who to trust.
It doesn't? This place feels so different from what I'm used to. Which is basically just Gotham, but still. It's not... active the way a place this size should be.
[Someone hasn't been paying attention to the network recently, it seems. Now that he's catching up, however...]
Your first day here, it's understandable that you're confused and out of sorts. Those of us who've been here longer know better, but I'm sure we wouldn't take offenses too seriously. We've all been in your position at least once in our time, after all.
What I mean to say is it's nice that you've come to apologize. But don't worry yourself too much.
[Poor speedster. Sometimes he honestly doesn't realize he's talking too fast again.]
I wasn't looking when it came around to respond, but looking back at it... No, it really wasn't. I've seen far worse. That you've tried to make amends for it, though, that says something good for you. How are you liking the city so far?
Really? Now I'm curious... but not enough to pry and embarrass anyone.
Do you have time for a few questions? Not about bad first impressions, but about you and the other Cybertronians. I don't mind answering your questions in return.
[Sora may not have seen her first introduction - he hasn't been paying very close attention to the network again - but he doesn't see any reason not to chime in and try to help, if she's new and doesn't know anyone.]
Hey, that's nothing to worry about. Everything's pretty hard to figure out when you first get here. No one can blame you for not knowing...especially if you're taking the time to apologize!
[The way he says it makes it obvious that not only is he not from there, but he's probably never even heard of it. If that wasn't confirmation enough, he shakes his head after a second of thinking.]

Anyway, looks like we've both arrived in this place around the same time.

[ There's a slight grin afterwards though. She is, after all, just joking. She wasn't really paranoid. Not here. Not now. ]
Not too badly. It helps that the place doesn't seem so different from any other city. At least on the surface.
I'm Circe.

Thanks. And from what I've heard already, I probably didn't make the worst first impression ever. But an apology never hurts.

It's a contradiction. There's so much to do and see, but the lack of people makes it... not quite scary, but unsettling all the same.

I'm Sora, by the way. It's nice to meet you.

[Sora. There's a girl at her school with that name.]
This might be a stupid question, but- are you from Japan?

Is that a place from your world?

I was just wondering; I know a Sora from home. Except that she's, well, a girl.
