[He's tired, he's rundown and he doesn't have much left, but his expression BRIGHTENS at this feed, a grin wide on his face that had been absent for the past week.]

[She shifts on the feed, moving off of her legs and sitting beside the gate.]

[Then, her eyes shoot a little wide. Excuse the fumbling while she's looking herself over.]

I told Xavier to get to Helix first chance he got. Made him promise me, so, hopefully, that's where he's been. I didn't... have a chance to tell you.

[She's a little worried about him, but if the storm's over and he went to Helix like he said, maybe he's fine... Maybe he went over before he even found out what happened to her.]

[She smiles at the mention of Rex doing... better.] That's good. I can't wait to see him.

[There's a pause, while she thinks about it for a second. Eventually, she just asks again, a little worried now.]

[It just figures that the one time he checks the network from Helix, he sees this...He has no idea what to think...you were dead. He saw you...you were...]

[He swallows hard, eyes already brimming with tears.]

[Well, that solves any worries she had about him, though he does look-... Either way, she smiles to him.]

Hey. Are you okay? You made it to Helix, right?

[Maybe he didn't know... or maybe he did.]

[He doesn't say anything for a long while, just staring at her like...well, like he was seeing a ghost. Finally, you'll hear a quiet, barely audible:]

I thought you were d-dead...

[Her face falls for a second, right before her eyes widen.]

[No one had told him?... She hadn't told him... Stupid. Stupid stupid stupid-]

[She probably couldn't get to him very fast, considering how horribly weak she felt right now, but she had to find him as soon as she could... And tear someone's head off later. Why had no one told him?]

And he dives under the table, shaking. He saw her die, so... how was he talking to her? Was she a ghost? A zombie??]

[Yeah, that was smooth. But she couldn't help but notice that everyone knew she was gone, when she remembered dumping the device before even walking in. What had Nautilus seen?... And did these kids see it, too?]

[There's a faint little smile for her - he is glad to see any of them return from the dead.]
