Good evening, my brothers and sisters of Nautilus.
In my two years here, well I have come to know that there are a great many among you who have had little, or even none, exposure to the good Book, The Holy Bible. And this is as much my failing as any other, for not being more forthright in making the Scripture accessable, when indeed it ought to be a book for any and all to read of our Lord's Good News. How easily I forget that it is not my job to save souls, but rather my God's, and that there is no better voice or authority than His Word, and His story.
Therefore I should like to organize a Bible Study Class, an intentful group of people to meet once a week to read and discuss the Bible. Starting in the first book and then moving through, taking as long a necessary in any section to answer questions or discuss the content and implications.
I invite everyone; anyone who has any interest or curiousity, anyone who desires to learn more or who feels a heart strangely warmed. No one will be turned away, and a meeting time can be arranged to best suit everyone involved. And, should there be too many for a single group, I will gladly organize more, since there can be no better task for my time than such as this.
