[Mitham steps back in the Northern Gate.  Didn't know he was gone you say?  Well, he didn't make a big deal about it, so it's no surprise.  He just wanted to take a quick trip home.]

[He pauses though, because as soon as he clears the gate it's clear he's got a couple additions.  He starts twisting around trying to get a look at his... rainbow wings

[She hadn't seen Mitham around lately, so she assumed that he had gone to visit home. Now that he was back... Well, she had seen a few city shifts. Rex waking up as a tooth fairy and Cloud turning into a giant chicken, but this... this was new.]

[Looks up at the feed, and pulls off the mask to smile and Holiday.] Great. How've you been? It's only been about a week, right? [Just checking...time went wonky on him the last time he left.]

Yeah, it's been about a week. Oh, I've gotten my own place!

Oh good. [The last time mix up was really strange for him.]

Yeah? You move in with someone or find a place on your own?

[He lowers the mask and gives her a smile.] Perfectly fine.

I'm well enough, all things considered.

You seem to be taking, um, your additions, in stride.

[He shrugs, his wings twitching.]

Can't say I don't like the wings, just wish they were a different color...or all one color, preferably a dark gray or black, or something of that sort.

This...[tugs on the halo that refuses to move.] I could due without, but... It'll be gone in a week.

[He lowers the mask and gives her a grin.]

Sure is. Apparently the city decided I needed a few things. [His wings twitch and he flicks the halo.]

[She gives a soft little giggle, covering her mouth with her hand and shaking her head a bit.]

Goodness gracious...

What? [Mock offended.] Don't like my rainbow wings? [Don't worry, he doesn't either...well, not the colors anyway.] Or is it this glowing thing floating over my head that you're laughing at?

[One wing jerks a bit when his cat finally manages to yank out a half purple and half blue feather.] Yeow! Pounce, stop that!

[Rex is sitting up on a building ledge somewhere with an "I hate my life" expression firmly affixed to his face. Those rainbow wings? Yep, stuck on him, as well.]

You too, huh?

Man... And right after I got rid of those stupid fairy wings.

[He reaches up to poke at the glowing halo in irritation. At least it's a color that matches his powers. Still...a halo doesn't really fit the likes of him, does it?]

[Okay, so now he's realizing there must be some joke behind the wings and glowing thing over his head.]

Yeah. Guess I'm not alone in this then. Any idea what it's about? [Feathery wings + halo =/= "Angel" in his world, so he's kind of lost as far as the connection goes.]
