He's a little wary at first of this new arrival, but since she doesn't initially seem outright crazy or malicious, he allows his guard to drop. He doesn't recognize this woman as any of Hojo's cronies though she does look a little similar to *someone*. The glowing-eyed First leans back in his seat, a bit of a smirk on his face.]

[But he can feel a little sympathetic for her plight. While Zack himself doesn't have much of a 'home' to return to, he understands the confusion and disorientation of being in Nautilus. It'll take some time for her to adjust.]

...I know. But... you'll wanna trust me on this. It's better to stay in Nautilus. If you manage to go back, you can't do much but watch your own life play out in front of you. You can't do anything, you can't even talk to your friends. Your body's on autopilot.

We've got the Deva to watch over us an' make sure we're not doin' anything stupid, so there's that. Also, death isn't permanent here, and after awhile, the city rebuilds itself if it's damaged. This... isn't just a regular, ordinary city. Nautilus is actually an Aeon -- a living being.

[He hated having to tell her that, but... it was the honest-to-gods truth. His expression sobers a little, giving a light shrug of his shoulders.]

It's better to be here, in any case. For me and a few others, we don't even have any life left to return to. Some die after taking a trip back home, too. But you still come back! If you really wanted it, you could come back anytime.

[He shakes his head, trying to clear out those negative thoughts.]
