[This is one of those rare moments where Raye is taking a break, and actually doing something other than chanting at a giant fire. Like waiting for her instant noodles to finish soaking in hot water. She tenses at the sight of SOMETHING emerging, but then relaxes. Just another Awakened. ...And oddly enough, one who didn't actually 'wake up' like most others do. Must investigate.]
[Odd jumps when he hears someone talking at him. That's when he reaches for his back pocket and pulls out his phone... He stares at a stranger's face looking back at him.
Funny. He didn't think cell phones had that capability yet. He takes in a moment, feeling like he's in some kind of science fiction flick or something, before answering:]
[Just wait until he meets giant robots. He should be thanking his lucky stars Raye talked to him first!]
Anyway, you're in the City of Nautilus. People from different worlds have a tendency to wake up here. You're the first I've seen to walk through the gate, though.
[Odd looks dubious for a moment. Figures. Leave it to him to be the weird one even in situations like this, where he's talking to a girl's face in his phone.]
Is that not normal?
[Okay no, back up. Got to process the whole Nautilus part first.]
I don't suppose I'll be meeting Captain Nemo anytime soon, will I?
[No sooner than his previous conversations, Odd finds himself being talked at by yet another voice. At this point he's just decided to leave his cell phone out and see what happens.
