[You may hear rough claws scrape against the ground as the beast attempts to stand, slipping a few times before he is finally successful. He gives his mane a shake, a low growl erupting from his throat; defensive.]

[His voice is quiet at first, but then a roar escapes him and he begins to shout.]
WHAT IS THIS PLACE?!
[Tall, strange trees towering over him, the ground rough and dark...this was not home...this place was nothing like he'd ever seen before!]
Kiara? Simba? Is anyone out there?!
[One more frustrated roar and he flops over onto the ground with a loud thud, still snarling and...whimpering? It doesn't last long, either way.]

[ooc: Kovu has just woken up in Nautilus and his communicator happens to be a nearby water puddle...so of course, he hasn't the slightest clue that this has all been recorded...:D ENJOY. OH, and, most will be able to understand him, since he is actually speaking, not just roaring like a retard. He's doing both. :D
