Dear Inhabitants of Nautius, Kalliste, Helix and any other associated place,
Given Damon's behavior last week, I can no longer keep quiet. In the hopes of not encouraging him to act out as he has, I kept to myself. Now that he has revealed himself in such a manner, it is imperative that everyone knows the truth.
Vampires from my world are not weakened or thwarted by what the stories and legends may contain in your world. Or even might be true in your world. Crosses, holy water, garlic, wolf's bane, reflections, running water. It is all just stories. A wooden stake through the heart or any fire is lethal.
However, there is one thing that I have never seen mentioned in the traditional legends that everyone must know. There is a plant called vervain. It acts as a poison if ingested and if worn by a human it will protect against any sort of mind control or compulsion from a vampire. Traditionally, it is dried and put into jewelry. It can be used in food, made into a tea or any number of means of ingestion.
It can be found growing in the southern district, and I have attached an image below.
Please protect yourselves so this does not happen in the future.
