19th Contraption // Video // The Start of Acceptance.... [Backdated to Saturday Afternoon]
[The camera turns on as Caesar lifts his datapad up closer to his face, looking down into the camera. In the background, barely visible, is the trunk of the memorial that Wally and others made. Caesar's been there for a while--not that anyone viewing the video would know that.]
It's occurred to me that some of these nightmares have a silver lining: you don't have to confront your fears or pain alone.
[He looks up, walking for a few steps before reaching out to run his hand along the metal trunk of the memorial.]
If anyone had told me that nightmares could help people when I came here, I wouldn't have believed them. It would've been incomprehensible. But now... I know differently.
[Caesar glances down at the camera again, a thoughtful expression on his face.]
It's very curious. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
