Done with midterms. Finally. -_-;
My last few days have been a particulary shit-filled mess of oversleeping and undersleeping, scrambling to study and finish papers, dealing with probably having to move my grandma -again- ( this time to an assisted living home, she can't go back to her apartment anymore :/ ), being exhausted, sleeping for six hours in the middle of the day and not being able to crash that night, going to one midterm, finishing it in twenty minutes, and then promptly going home, going to turn in one midterm at a supposed lecture, finding out it's been rescheduled without notice, randomly becoming the ringleader of a class of 20 and hauling across campus trying to find the professor's office, etcetera. I've generally been a cranky bastard in the meantime, and for those of you who've been on the recieving end, I apologize. Unless you've deserved it, in which case... die in a fire, or something. XD
It's been fun.
Sort of.
And by fun I mean a sleep-wrecking nightmare.
Anyways, on to more entertaining topics -- namely, my car hunt.
Upsides and downsides -- the few cars I've looked at have had pretty major mechanical/damage issues -- one MR2 with bumper replacement problems and probable frame damage, and another with 117k miles and undriveable without a new clutch. Now, the clutch isn't the problem, it's the install -- the whole motor usually has to be pulled, and that gets really expensive. As does damn near everything on the MR2, I've come to find. I think I'm gonna wind up biting the bullet and finance a newer car come December or January, after I've got a sizeable chunk of change put away.
Options are as follows:
Nissan 350Z (Ideally a Track model, if I can find a used one. Ridiculously enormous Brembo brakes are a good thing.)
Mitsu LanEvo VIII (MR? I can dream, right?)
Mazda RX-8
Why? Because they're the only ones I fit in. CURSE MY MORTAL LEGS! Heh. Seriously though, they're all badass cars, and I'd love to have any of them.
