Take note of the date. I still have not unpacked. I have started working but haven't really made any progress in the piano department. I am playing beach volleyball though. Played the last two days, and SURPRISINGLY, I got a sunburn on the second day. I never knew how much sunburns could hurt. I never used to get them when I was younger...
I don't think I mentioned that the day that I moved out of the dorms (Thursday, May 23) Hillary asked me to go with her to karaoke. It was so much fun. For anyone who's looking for a good ol' karaoking time, go to Applebee's in Saugus on Thursday nights. Karaoke is at 8-11:30. They also have Guitar Hero on Tuesdays, I think. Pretty chill place.
Jess approached me to be her partner for womens doubles - grass. I accepted. Haha. No surprise there. I love volleyball. I've basically been volleyballing with her. We both went to the beach today and yesterday, and we both have sunburns on our backs/shoulders. Gross. Also, I met some pretty cool peeps through beach. Mark, Nick, and Brendan. Beach is HARD. No wonder professional beachers have to be jacked. If I had the drive to train as much as they did, I would probably look like they do. Good thing I don't....or maybe bad thing. Haha.
Which leads me to my next topic. The AVP tour isn't coming anywhere near Boston, and it kinda pisses me off. Closest place is New York. Gross. So beach volleyball is basically shunning the east coast. Thanks. Unlike west coasters, we can't train all-year-round. But volleyball was invented in Massachusetts, so they should at least try and schedule a date here. Seriously. Okay, done complaining about that.
I'm so glad So You Think You Can Dance is back. I really like it. Makes me wish I learned how to dance when I was younger. Lots of these shows on teevee make me wish I did lots of things when I was younger. For real.
Alright, I'm gonna get some sleep, and then start unpacking for real tomorrow. Fo' sure, fo' sure.
