CAMP!!!!!!!!

First of all.......I am never putting a quote in my journal again. Sheesh. Negatory anonymous people.....

On to CAMP! Heeheeheeheeheeheeheeheehee what great fun. I love CAMP so much. It's Li-lo-li. Ok, here we go.

Sunday: I arrived and got to my cabin and my counselor was Rich, my counselor from last year! And he's awesome! So I had an awesome week with him...met everyone else in my cabin and they all ROCKED! So many good times...we'll get to them. Then they blew the bugle and all the campers and counselors were randomly divided into teams. My team was Team 7, and we chose the name Stealth Llamas! Mwahahahaha......beware the stealth llamas. Then food and chapel and bed.

Monday: Average CAMP day until night fell. Then Phil dared Casey to walk to the wash house naked. Being Casey, he did so. As Kyle watched his bare behind waddle into the night, he stripped down as well and joined him. As they entered the wash house together, the rest of my cabin mates heard, "Ahhhhh!", "They're naked!", "Stone them!" So Casey and Kyle beat a hasty retreat back to the cabin, running past us on our way to the wash house to see what was going on. The remainder of the boys' area decided to go on the offensive. Casey and Kyle grabbed some sticks and emerged from their cabin to face the ten or twelve boys that are by this time running in attack formation toward them. This is the funny part. Kyle and Casey start yelling and charging the group, waving their swords. As one, the entire group stopped, turned around, and ran back to where the rest of the boys were waiting. But they were no match. The Pantless Bandits soundly routed them to complete eviceration until security showed up. But the Bandits quietly slipped away into the night, and were never caught. The Night of the Pantless Bandits was never forgotten.

Tuesday: The Stealth Llamas racked up some major points on this day at CAMP. I played Battle Darts, which is like dodge ball except with foam darts. Except this girl named Emma had skill and kept getting me out. Grrr....but I bought candy and felt better. During rest period Casey and I jammed out in a guitar duet. He is so good. Later on in the week I made up a cool chord progression and he made up a solo to it. It was so cool. Then even later Kyle brought out his electric and Casey and I played "Dare You To Move" by Switchfoot. He was the solo guy and I did the cool baaaarrrwwwww stuff.

Wednesday: Nothing terribly exciting happened on this day except for regular CAMP things, but the beauty of CAMP is that it's fun anyway. O yea, at CAMP they have cabin challenges, which is where one cabin challenges another to some sport or game, and the loser has to suffer the Consequence which can be walking the plank or pies in the face or whatever. We won on Tuesday against the oldest girls' cabin, and the consequence was feeding the winner dessert like one would a baby. That was sooooooo fun. We all reclined in our chairs and were like ahhhhhhh, feed us. So cool.

Thursday: Today the cabins had to come up with some biblical theme and decorate their cabin with it. We (surprisingly) hit upon the concept of Adam naked in the garden. So we strung boxers and underwear around the cabin and went commando for the day. Needless to say, our cabin got a 10.

Friday: Today was also theme day, but it was any theme we wanted. So, at 1:00am, the brave souls of cabin 27 dressed in black, snuck out into the night, and stole a kayak, a canoe, four lifejackets and several oars. It wasn't easy, either. They had to dodge security and roll and dive and all those ninja like things. But it was worth it once again. Our cabin was given a rating of 13 out of 10. No joke. Then when we returned the stuff right before lunch, we put our counselor Rich on the kayak and carried him on our shoulders.

Saturday: Everyone left except for about thirty kids, myself included and we watched some funny Veggietales movies and ate and waterslid. Not much happened.

I'll tell you all about week 2 next entry. CAMP!!!!
