( After being absolutely INFURIATED at how Shirley Sherrod had been treated over the past 48 hours, I think I've finally collected my thoughts enough to pen this post. Still, my outrage is quite palpable and if someone speaking truth to power makes your cringe, then go away and watch Faux News and cede any semblance of thinking to the right-wing fear machine because I have no interest in making anyone feel )

Goddamn, it makes me furious! And I really am going to work in this election, because the idea that we could go so far backwards in two years is heartbreaking.

It's not heartbreaking...it pisses me off. But if those folks in the Tea Party think they can turn to clock back, they're sadly mistaken.
