Let's see what has been accomplished today.
I started off my day by realizing that Christine was not there and will not be here for the rest of the semester to help me pick out my outfits. I have no clue what to do, so I just wore a pair of jeans and a t-shirt with a long sleeve shirt under it. Needless to say it probably didn't match all too well. So now I am kicking myself asking why in the world did I suggest that she take the 7:30 class instead of the one that was later on in the afternoon?!
At the end of chapel they decided to play this shakey shakey music. I wanted to dance and I believe the general consensus was that people wanted to dance. What is Harding trying to promote?
Well after completely random wanting to dance chapel I met with Dr. Province. I'm really excited about this project. This weekend I will be reading some of these papers and reading up on soxhletic extraction along with reading up on and learning about alkylating agents and preparing a talk for the following Friday in class. I don't like getting in front of people make that peers speaking. It scares me a lot. So for me not to be scared although there will always be a twinge of frightfulness, I need to be prepared by practicing so the more I can practice and the better I can learn it the better I feel I will do on the actual presentation. Bob is my partner so my suggestion was that he present it in polish and I would translate it that way our talk would only have to be 7 minutes in actuality. I got off subject. So delta pi heart and I got to work on that and I can probably just go in there any time I have free time and set it up. It isn't too bad.
After that got done Sarah and I went and had lunch today at Pizza Hut. It was good just to take a solid lunch hour to sit there and talk with a friend. After that we went and hung out in the math lab. I read for Pharm and Med Chem and she worked on some kind of physics homework.
I've developed a leg shake. I don't like it. For some reason it is acting up like it did before my senior seminar. Grrr it is stupid, can I just cut it off?
I helped out with the 114 lab. It was amazing and I really wish I could help out more. I was so excited about helping all the students out, it felt amazing. I can't wait to become a professor!!!! I went by Dr. Cole's office and told him how much I enjoyed it. We actually didn't do too much in the lab, but none the less I want to be in an actual wet chemistry lab again. That is why doing this research with Dr. Province is going to be so amazing. I do have PChem lab but it is nowhere near wet chemistry standards. Theo and I devised a plan, see Dr. Schramm got this other girl to be the lab assistant on Tuesday afternoons but she is a Freshman, and I told Theo that if things didn't work out and that if I really wanted the job I would find her and trip her or something that will keep her from being able to preform her duties. Okay that is harsh and I would never do it, but it's at least funny to consider. All for the love of science.
