Michigan Works! (Not)
Seriously, why does anyone live in this state. Take five seconds and search the internet for jobs in this state. It'll take you about that look to read them all.
I'm seriously considering looking for jobs in Windsor or Ohio. Or, you know, MOVING TO A BETTER STATE.
I'm only upset about being unemployed because its the oneaspect of my life that I don't have a handle on. And the more I work on it, the farther away I seem to be. Maybe the problem is I haven't decided what I want to do. But that seems like its putting perimeters on finding a job.
I do know what I DON'T want to do though.
I don't want to work with food in any capacity.
I don't want to work outside.
I don't want to drive for a living.
I don't want to work IN the city of Detroit.
And you know, it would be a nice perk not to have to drive out to Livonia or Warren or something. Are there other parts of the state where there are more jobs? Like Grand Rapids or something? Lansing? Do I just need to move in order to get a job? Honestly, I think if I had to move, I'd rather just leave the state. :-p
