Um Wow. Its been a happening few days.
I was really down, mostly due to the apartment and job situation. I know I procrastinate, but I was starting to sweat it. It finally looked like we were going to get an apartment, but I had to hand over my employment information. And I was certain is would ruin our chances. I was really torn up. Jeff was at work, James didn't know what to say, and my parents are absolutely useless when it comes to advice or comfort.
So I called Steve, and he talked me down. I calmed down, and went to hand in the information. And there was no problem at all.
We got the apartment. :-) Greentrees, in Riverview, right on Fort Street. Same as we are paying now, just for a nicer place. We are thrilled.
Steve and I met up for a bite to eat to celebrate.
THEN, it gets better. I got promoted to full-time! Thanks, no doubt, to Mrs. Brown's saintliness. Stable paychecks? 40 hours? BENEFITS?! Christ, I'll be able to go see a doctor? I am so thrilled. Things really seem to be falling into place, and I am happy.
So if things are bad for you right now, hang in there little tomato.
