I haven't booted to windows since..oh, early november. Today I booted because I wanted to edit my AMV. Yeah, that went well. Now, all my complaints about linux are miniscule. First thing windows does?
Doesn't boot. It gets to the login screen, and tells me its loading my personal settings for a good minute or so. Then it just freezes up. So I do a cold reboot. I then reboot, and hey! look, it loads my settings, and gets them all wrong. Windows just looks terrible, and it refuses to load my background, even when I tell it where it went. So, I get to do a system restore.
Third try, it boots correctly. Except now it hates my hard drive, and I can't actually edit my AMVs anymore. Lucky me.
Seriously, video editing is becoming more and more viable on Linux, as is sound synthesis and a ton of other stuff. Fuck Windows (and Mac OS X for that matter), I'm sick of dealing with this shit.
Rar.
