So here is the story
FB is a bit too public so I'll give the background here. I am getting rid of most of my stuff because I am leaving my parents house, ideally by thursday but definitely by the 23rd.
I just can't live with my parents anymore. Its bugged me for a while anyway that at my age I have to live with my parents, on top of the fact that my dad and I have always had issues since I was a teenager, and he treated me like crap even as a kid.
So the final straw was this past thursday. I was leaving for work and we got into an argument about me not closing my bathroom door when I am in the shower. (its not that the bathroom is anywhere public, its on the top floor of the house and the only person up on that floor is me..but he seemed to think people are gonna 'look in' from the street somehow, through closed blinds and a colored shower door and then he will get arrested for my 'indecent exposure'. He even started yelling and shit and it ended with him saying 'its my house and my rules. if you dont like it you can leave' and I realized that he was right. its not like when he pulled that shit when I was a kid at his mercy and couldn't do anything about it. So I told him 'ill be out within 2 weeks' and left for work.
Later that night my dad seemed to act as if nothing happened (which is his MO most of my life..blowing up at me, ridiculing me, calling me names, blaming me for things he messed up, etc, then 15-30mins later act like nothing happened and has no idea why I would be upset), and I told my mom I was leaving. So then friday as i am going through all the stuff in the attic, BOTH my parents have no idea what I am doing and acting like I am not leaving. Its freakin weird.
I can't actually afford to live anywhere so I am minimizing all my stuff and putting the rest in a small storage place and I'll be sleeping in my office til I can start making enough $ to live somewhere.
