On Friday, I'd meant to go to the The Green Room with Ceryl and Rene (who I haven't seen since something like Christmas), but instead I was totally lame and flopped over from the exahsting week before.  Somehow that feels okay for M-thurs, but for a Friday it feels wrong.  Is this what aging is about?

Saturday held more interest:  Laura and Mike hosted an Easter Egg hunt.  Except it wasn't easter.  And we were hunting bottles of beer.
I've decided that it is a fine Easter tradition, and its one I may continue to hold for some time...  As an added bonus, Mr. Proescholdt was in town from Minneapolis (whom I hadn't seen at least since college), and he rounded out a fine group to get drunk and play croquet with.  -Two pugs ran interference by attacking our mallets, although we really didn't need much of a handicap...

Later, and significantly more sober, I'd joined Lindy at the symphony -and it was really damn good.  Not only did they showcase Ravel and Debussy, but there was an amazing violinist -Amy Schwartz Moretti.   Sometimes there are inviduals so talented that you can't help but be awed -first by the talent they posses, but also by the dedication and time it must take to reach that level.  And that Amy Schwartz Moretti is so hot almost made it an almost depressing sort of awe.  Like somehow people shouldn't be allowed to be that gorgeous if they are already extremely gifted, because it's unfair to the rest of us.  (But I still very much appreciate her talent.  -And I still hold my celebreity crush on the 2nd chair violinist here.)

...I forgot where I was going with that, but talent is sexy.  Which may or may not be related to intelligence being sexy...

Anyhow, I dressed as a punk at work in Tuesday (witha truly scandalous faux-hawk for those bankers), and helped win my team a free lunch.  Pictures exist.  Meybbe I'll posts them, if I think of it at work...
