The tank was getting way too crowded now that the tadpoles have become huge and hyperactive, so I cut the numbers from 30-odd down to 12, the rest of them going back to the pond.
They are most definitely carnivorous now. While they still eat fish flakes, they much prefer chicken. Easy for me since I can just toss leftover bits of my dinner in rather than having to cook a separate lettuce supper!
The li'l dudes now have fully formed recognisable faces:
and have finally sprouted some back legs!
