Thoughts...Psychology is Awesome!
Well..Psychology class last week was really awesome and I wanted to post some stuff up.
My teacher Dr. Alvarez (he is awesome) said that "If you truly love someone you will never stop loving them..." He aslso said that its possible to fall out of love with someone but you can't stop loving that person if your love was true, 'through the good, bad, ups and the downs'-(Cater 2 U lyrics/love that song)- you will still love them.
So then I was thinking about parents - a ton of parents get divorced everyday. You know, they got married and told everyone around them that they were in love with this other person and wanted to be with them forever. So... I assume that their love was "true." Then a couple years later they decide they hate each other and want a divorce...these divorced peeps are rude to each other and show no love whatsoever...so was their love true?
I guess you don't know if you really love someone until they have totally messed up- if you still love someone after they have lied to you, disappointed you, treated you bad, and made you look like a fool then you know your love is true.
This applies to all relationships-not just marriage or boyfriends and girlfriends but think about the parent-child relationship...u know your parents really love you when you disappoint them and they still take care of you.
For all those people who have a bad relationship with an X-if you feel hate maybe you didnt really love them and for those who still love their Xs-maybe your love was true...who knows? Psychology...gotta love it!
