(no subject)
Damn.
So the band has an optional event every night for anyone to attend. Last night was karaoke. I went just to hang out with this girl named taylor. It was cool. She was nice. And pretty. Yadda yadda. Of course it only takes me like 3 days to find a girl I like.
This kid matt i just met asked me to sing journey with him. Anyone else think it's weird that i'm away from home for less then a week, and I already meet someone named matt who knows all the words to don't stop believing?
Well they didn't have that song. So he sang the piano part, I sang the vocals, we both sang guitar solos, and so on. It was kind of a joke. But still alsome. My section leader got a video of it on their phone. It might be on youtube later.
Well the prize if you were voted the best was an extra hour of sleep the next day of band camp. So rather then waking up for 830, it's 930. Big difference to me. All the kids that march wanted it because they miss basics. I guess basics sucks then. I just miss playing, and I like playing.
Apparently we won unanimously. I can't spell that word, but you understand. So this taylor girl comes up to me afterwards and says I shouldn't have won because I didn't sing karaoke i just messed around, and I don't even need it because I'm just in pit.
So I told her to sing better.
So now i'm finding interest in a girl named becky. Or beckie. I don't know. I don't have THAT much interest yet. But she's cute, nice, and good at capture the flag, which if you didn't know where the top three things I look for in a girl, in order.
