Strikethrough 2007

1. Journals that are deleted or suspended no longer have strikethroughs, they are merely bolded. This was obviously put in place because Six Apart didn't like us using the phrase Strikethrough 2007. This is bullshit, and they're stupid if they think it will make people stop talking about it.

2. Livejournal has now started suspending users according to their new policies against obscenity. Here is a detailed post about the suspensions. They reassured fandom that they were safe time and time again. They reinstated pornish pixies. They said that 99.9% of all fanfic is okay. They said that in most cases the suspensions would be temporary, to allow the poster to remove the offensive content and then get their journals reinstated. Turns out that was a lie. No one is really safe on livejournal.

3. Can anyone recommend some good alternatives? I know a lot of people are going to Greatestjournal and Insanejournal. Are those good sites?
