The Velvet Days, The Faster Times.
So one of the most exciting developments in 2011 for me is joining the News and Politics staff at TheFasterTimes.com. I truly love this internet newspaper and the journalistic integrity it stands for in the digital age and I am very proud indeed to join their ranks.
My first article went up yesterday afternoon. It is a piece analyzing what unemployment figures really tell us. It also takes a good hard look at the claim of the Department of Labor that the unemployment figures in January remained stagnant in January because of the record awful January weather. It jumped up to #4 on the website the other night and the article turned up as the second hit on a Google search for "January Unemployment 2011"...which still blows my mind.
