WHO: 2012 persona users!
WHERE: Outside the dorms, then to the zoo!
WHEN: October 21st, starting sometime around 8pm
WHY: When Principal Ivors tells you to do something, YOU DO IT.
(
Even though he had reminded them, a part of him wondered if any of the students would show. )
They were just running an errand for Principal Ivors but she still wanted to look nice. She'd put on a long, sleeved dark purple velour dress trimmed with black lace around the collar and cuffs, an amethyst pendant. Lillian had opted to put her hair up in an elegant twist, leaving a few curls to trail down around her face. The dress was shorter than what she normally wore this time of year, the hem reaching several inches above her knee, but she wore black tights underneath it so she didn't get too cold. She'd taken care to pick black shoes that didn't clash too much with the rest of her outfit but she could run in if she needed to.
Simply put, Lillian wasn't taking any chances.
The atmosphere seemed oddly tense when she arrived at the designated meeting place but she remained as outwardly serene as ever.
"Hello," she greeted quietly.

"Hello Lilly." He then turned to point at the box in Oscar's hand. "He has a box."

"Good evening, Mr. Ivors," she greeted without looking away from the box.

Rather than egg on anything else, he waved to Lillian, shifting the box in his hand carefully. "Good evening, Ms. Taylor. Do you have any idea where the rest of you are? They're starting to run a bit late."

She was only a little late but based on a quick look, not everyone was there yet. When her eyes fell on Oscar and the box, her eyes narrowed subtly for a briefest moment before she collected herself. Artemis had enough disdain for her behalf.

"What a fitting explanation for you, and a convenient scapegoat at that. Unfortunately I must inform you that you did, in fact, supply me with some very false and pointless information that led me through a series of particularly unfortunate encounters," he paused, his gaze drifting towards Lilly and monitoring whether or not she was put off by his antagonistic tone. She didn't seem to be. That was good. He went on, "and though you did not directly place me into any hell, you were most certainly indirectly responsible for all of my misfortune over the last week or so! You will give us answers here and now. Why did you have me spy on these people? To what end were you attempting to use me?"
By now, Lawrence had completely forgotten he was speaking to an authority figure. No, he most likely knew. It was more like his disillusionment with Oscar had reached such levels that he no longer chose to associate this man with such a position.
He didn't really care about the consequences. He knew what's done is done. He just hoped this yielded some sort of answer... and that someone else would back him up very soon.

Instead, she answered Principal Ivor's question.
"I'm not sure where everyone is but I'll make some calls." And with that, she pulled out her cell phone and proceeded to call Heather, Emi, and the rest of the group, turning her back on the principal and whatever plight he'd brought on himself.

His response was simple, but he stopped there for now. Though he would've happily just sent them off at that moment to drop the subject, and to make them not late, he decided to wait a bit more just so Lillian could complete her calls. And really, the principal had hoped to leave the box in the hands of a student he could trust would have a serious moral dilemma about opening it before they arrived at the zoo. Basically, Heather. He would give it five more minutes.

"S.. sorry for being late..! I can u-u-understand if you won't forgive me, sir, but at least accept my humble apologies.." She started speaking rather fast, probably out of general embarassment and shyness as well, even though she didn't dare to look Oscar directly in the eyes even as she spoke. Then she gave a quick nod towards Lillian, as if to thank her about the phone call.

Something like he was stalling for time.
That's just fine. Lawrence thought. If I can't get any straight answers out of him, I can at least create enough doubt so as to stop others from trusting him blindly like I did...
He scoffed. "If I recall correctly, you mentioned that the study group was up to 'no good' and that I should keep my eye on them. I did exactly that, and through much investigation I came to discover that they weren't the ones that were up to no good. The person who was, however, was you. Oh, I'm sure you were quite concerned, weren't you? Like how you were concerned when you sent the rest of them on a trip to the museum? Ah, yes... how did that end again? I wonder..." he asked, with a patronizing tone.

She still didn't look the least bit bothered by Lawrence's speech. If anything, she looked perfectly content to just let him keep talking.

Regardless of how knowledgeable he might have been about anything, Oscar felt it best to leave it at that, hoping they wouldn't be quite so dim that they wouldn't be able to understand what he was saying to them. He didn't feel like spending the time to spell out any theories to them.
Instead of continue the conversation, he stepped over to Heather and held the box out to her. "Now, you kids had best get going. I'm assuming you all know where you're going, but call me if you get lost." He leaned forward to the girl. "And make sure no one opens this before it gets to where it needs to go. It's not necessarily fragile, but it's irreplaceable and certainly worth more than half of you."

Had he accomplished anything at all? No... it didn't seem like it. He thought that confronting Principal Ivors would make him feel a little better about how everything turned out since he assumed he would be getting answers... but all he got was blatant skirting and beating around the bush.
He sighed. What a waste of time. He looked at Ezra with a frustrated and disappointed expression, then quickly turned to Lilly with the same expression on his face.
Maybe it was time for him to let this go. It didn't seem to be going anywhere. With another reluctant sigh, he nodded. "We will be sure to get it to its destination..." he muttered, without emotion or the slightest bit of interest.

Seeing that they were about to head out, he moved closer to Oscar, Heather and the box passing between them. In the process he approached Lawrence, and couldn't help but throw a careful glance back at Lillian. She'd seemed content enough to watch earlier, but Ezra didn't want her to think he was going in for round two of antagonizing her boyfriend. He nodded to Heather as he neared and finally settled near Lawrence's side, simply quirking a brow at the blond though it doubled as a deadpan reaction to Oscar's snide remark. "It'll be safe with us," he assured the principal with mock solemnity, raising a hand to rest over his chest.

After a few seconds though, he could no longer simply stare awkwardly at the other boy. "What are you doing, Ezra." He muttered quietly so that only he and Ezra could hear.

"We're leaving aren't we?" he returned in a similarly low tone. "But, uh. You keep looking over, and I keep thinking you wanna talk? So what is it?" Fully prepared to have been told he was reading the blond's alien body language the wrong way, he finally turned his gaze towards Lawrence with an inquiring expression.
