WHO: Oscar, Lawrence, and anyone who wants to join
WHERE: October 10th, on a bench outside the dorms
WHEN: Towards the end of the dinner period
WHY: Because he lives at school, too, and I need more threads. Who wouldn't want to ruin his dinner spend time with their principal?
Autumn weather was already threatening to settle in. The farther north a person lived the more sudden the temperature drops would seem. All things considered, though, the season had been particularly mild so far. One could still get by with only a light jacket, if even needing that. It was mostly the thought of the weather to come that bothered him whenever there was a cool breeze. Until a machine was built that could control the weather, Oscar decided that it was best to enjoy the few nice days remaining while they lasted. Well, maybe. In any case, he had been eating most of his meals outdoors. It was usually more peaceful compared to the indoor areas where the students gathered anyway.
As soon as he was sure everything was in order with dinner and the students he headed for one of the benches outside of the dorm building. With one leg crossed on his knee and an open book balanced in his lap, he sat quietly, using chopsticks to eat shrimp dumplings out of a Chinese takeout box. It was far from a perfect meal to most, but the atmosphere was mostly nice for once.
