Eloquent
"Plural noun," Alison called to her brothers.
The Varner boys were both sprawled on the floor with their heads bowed over Nintendo DSes, racing Mario Kart. "Butts," Theo called.
Alison shook her head, but filled it in anyhow. "Verb?"
"Interrupting," Theo said. "Which you are."
"I don't mind," Val said, looking up from the game.
"Adjective?"
"Eloquent."
Theo snorted. "Fancy-smancy adjective."
Alison threw a pillow at Theo.
Val gave her a smile. "Good shot."
"Suck up," Theo said.
"Eat me," Val replied sweetly. He was getting the hang of siblings.
Alison rolled her eyes. "So much for eloquent."
