so i have this friend whose parents are about to check him into the hospital because hes getting into a lot of trouble these days and they feel like hes spinning out of control...or whatever.
YOU KNOW WHAT I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS?
if you try to help someone with their problems, and they dont want help, no matter how much you enforce it on them its not going to help the situation at all. the only thing it will do is make it worse.
and this kid definitely does not want to get back on the right track now.
i think its bullshit because to me, putting a kid in an institution or hospital or whatever it is means that the PARENT DOESNT KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THE SITUATION. and if the parent cant handle the situation, how the hell do they expect a fuckin hospital to help them? the parent should know what to do, its their kid.
im only ranting and raving about this because i was checked into the hospital a while back because my parents didnt know what to do with me, and when i got out of there i didnt change i just got even worse.
i dont know maybe if some kids parents would actually look a little closer and spend more time with their kids, everything wouldnt go awry the way it did for this kid and me and whoever else has been in this situation.
its just life. sometimes you do stupid shit because you can. its just an experience that some people have. eventually youll grow up and mature from it. i mean yeah i still have to put up with constant bullshit everyday. because my parents dont trust me because of what ive done in the past. but at least im mature enough to trust myself and know ill never turn back to the way i was. as long as you yourself know that youll be okay, theres no need to worry about what other people think.
oh yeah and parents are fucking retards because they dont even know their goddamn kids anymore.
