[Draped on Peter's doorknob is a black and yellow scarf... that's been nicked from Tonks's room. Tacked to the door is a note that reads "Ho ho ho. -C.R." ENJOY YOUR STOLEN GIFT, PETER <3]
[Sylar wasn't having the same trouble being Peter than many others had had with height and such. He just understood better how Peter worked and he wasn't certain if it came from his intuitive aptitude or Peter's empathy. Regardless, it meant he could wander the halls in the same causal near-sloppiness, running a hand through his hair, and pretending to care about people. He had wandered down to level six for the pure purpose of avoiding Peter and Adam, while simultaneously looking for Elle.
He stopped as he lifted his eyes to see Claude a little farther down the hall. Sylar expected that an invisible man would walk around invisible, especially with him now only being a few steps away. He was oblivious to the fact that no one else would be able to see Claude, that it was Peter's ability that was allowing him to see this. But he did know it was fun to play Peter.]
[Claude stops in his tracks, the initial fight or flight response that always comes with being spotted (those few times he has been) subsiding quickly as he notices that it's only Peter. He doesn't make any effort to approach Peter, but he doesn't run away, either.]
I did.
[He looks down at his own, familiar and worn-in coat and shrugs]
[Sylar tilts his head to the side a little, running a hand through his hair. Part of it was trying to look like Peter, but more of it than he would care to admit felt natural.]
It's all right. Aren't you usually invisible?
[Much like an inexperienced Peter, Sylar became invisible without even realizing. It was how he was able to see Claude so easily, stepping within a five foot radius of the other man.]
[Claude gives Peter an absolutely withering look-- he'd be more suspicious, but he doesn't know yet that part of the effect of this flood is that the Inmates adopt abilities as well. Far as he knows, only the real Peter can see him. After thoroughly conveying his disappointment in the other man through silence, he speaks]
I am invisible. [Then, he grins a little and lets out a mocking laugh] Did that explosion knock the sense out of your brain?

No ones' doors are locked any more. Are you taking advantage of that or joining the others in the dining hall?

You go to the dining hall. I'll be there soon.
