So finished with my first week of the new school quarter. Granted I missed the first 2 days of class because I was stuck up in Olympia because the Volvo died and didnt get a ride home from Fry and Cassie until Tuesday night. My classes look like they will be alright. ITs going to take alot of work, and im going to work very hard, to make sure I keep up with things. With my legal stuff im handling, the community service im doing, and going to school, thats why its going to be hard, as its hard enough for me to stay on top with just the school. Im taking the third quarter of the three quarter Chemistry sequence. Since I bombed out this last quarter, I will need to retake that this summer, as well as LABS for that the second quarter and first quarter of the seqeunce, so I will do the same summer thing as last summer only will be doing just a tiny part, the part im not done with yet. Im taking Operating Systems, which is nifty, I get to learn how to program the kind of software that runs the computers you all are using! Im also taking Macroeconomics, since its a required basic class for everyone in college that I havent taken yet in my schooling. Im not sure how much im going to digg that class, because the teachers accent is so wierd to listen to its hard to understand ya know? So ya thats my school this term (well and the Lab class once a week, and the Workshop once a week for Chem you have to goto as well thats 1 credit).
I think tommorow Im going to do some more community service. I started last week on Thursday, did 4 hours, and then 4 more on Sunday. My plan is to do 4 hours twice a week and ill be done in 8 weeks for the 8 days I have left (had 9 total). Im doing it at the Sharehouse in downtown Vancouver, they house and feed homeless people. Pretty much I do random task around the kitchen in preperation for feeding time, chill during the eating time, and then put chairs away and some other menial task and thats my 4 hours and I go home. Its really hard on my back though, even with all my meds. The reason im doing it here is because im not supposed to be standing or doing anything physical intensive. Ive done everything by my own will though, so if it keeps up ill just tell them look, I cant do the same task I have been, the reason im here is because of my chronic pain and bad back and neck, I cant be standing for 4 hours and leaning over tables to cleen them and all that. Maybe they need some computer help or something.
About the car, yea, gone. Blew a rod through I guess a 4inch hole in the engine, so without a new engine the car is shot, we are going to have it towed to the house soon (I still have alot of shit in it, all these embedded development boards I bought that I hope to sell for a few to several hundred each and there is 14 of them in there, library books to return, and more) and then we will have 2 cars that need engine rebuilds but other than that are in great shape and everything else is pretty much new in them. I plan on rebuilding my volvo this summer, going to buy the kit and them figure it out or something. So my mom bought a car and is now in debt for the next 6 years for it. She made a bad choice and way over paid. She got a 2001 Kia Sportage (ya you know there 4wheel drive SUV) for 11grand. Its funny when I was getting dropped off I said to Fry and Cassie that I didnt ask my mom what color car she bought, and Cassie said well as long as its not red or something else scary, and guess what? Its red, haha. Oh well. At least my mom as a car that isnt really old, has pretty low miles, under warrenty, and will last her a long time. Now I need to get buying the car I have been planning on buying. I need my school money to come in though that im waiting on, and depending on how nice, my mom to cosign something (which with this new car loan of hers is iffy if she will). She was really sketch about letting me drive her new car cause she was being all paranoid, but that lasted all of half a day, so there.
Anyway, Im bored, so peopel should give me a call to do something. Im free tomorrow night (and tonight! hehe, I think there is something awesome at Holocene tommorow) so lets hang out, gimme a call. 360-314-8634.
