RIP
I am very sad to report that my dear cat of almost 18 years was put to sleep on Monday, August 18 at 10:15 AM. He leaves behind his mother, Ellen, his father, Marshall, and his sister, Rose. Also surviving him is his Nephew, Norman.
Beauty was adopted by the Azrael clan after a few run ins at the bird feeder. His adopted mother, Ellen, tried to chase him away, but instead HE decided to adopt HER. Beauty became a beloved member of the family, though in his later years he became a bit smelly, he was always spoiled and well cared for. His favorite activities included chasing birds, catching and killing baby bunnies, mice, voles, and garter snakes. He was also fond of sleeping while on someone's chest, and he very much enjoyed having his cheeks rubbed.
Through his long life he acquired many nick names: Black Stud, Beautster, Beauty Boy, Meow-Meow, Smelly Face, Schmitten, Baby, and many others. He was well liked.
Cause of death was cancer and possible stroke.
Beauty Azrael will be remembered by all who knew him for his sweet, mischievous, and loving ways.
Rest in Peace dear friend. You will be sorely missed.
