Campy Trampy ... Scampi?
Surprise. I'm at camp. I actually have a minute to myself so I thought I'd put some journaling time in. Right now we're in the midst of Color War. I am on the Green team this year, and the theme for the first session is "Wizard of Oz". Which is actually a really cool theme. My supervisor is Captain Color War, which explains why I've been doing a lot more crap that a lot of the other assistants have.
We only have our campers for another few days and getting rid of some of them excites me more than I can express with words, though, there are some that I'm sad to see go. Seriously, a large part of my unit this summer has an IQ in negative numbers... and honestly, I wish I weren't kidding. Also, what is surprising is that for the most part, the boys are more mature than the girls. Keep in mind, they are 13, and just in general I find it somewhat baffling.
It seems it will be another loveless summer. Though, last year it wasn't really loveless just at camp it was. We're only half through, so we'll see. It would be fun, but at the same time, I'm so busy anyway that I'm sure the other person would get annoyed. I take my job very seriously, and people don't get that sometimes. Oh well.
Okay, time to get back to campers, reality, and work!
