Well here's a rundown of college life and just life in general:
I get cable and internet tomorrow, which sucks since I have homework and really need it. First day of school, right when Mars pulled into the parking lot I got super sick, dizzy, blurred vision, and broke out into a cold sweat, horrible. Since my class didn't start for another hour and a half I sat in the car for a while. My Statistics class was pretty cool, my teacher let us out a half hour early. In between my classes I had about 3 hours so I walked around and found my old friend from middle school Monica and this other girl, Chrissy, who went to my middle school, too. We hung out for a while and then I went to Comp I. First I thought the teacher was a student until she started talking. She's really nice and that's going to be the easiest class but she's from India and her accent is so incredibly thick it took me a few minutes to realize she assigned homework. My Survey of Criminal Justice System class is awesome. My teacher curses constantly he says for shock value and he "just likes to fucking curse," and he used to be a pot head and drug traffiker between 7th and 10th grade. The only grade we get is from 4 exams that count as 25% each and he doesn't assign extra credit because "usually it's people failing who need it and why the fuck would you want more work if you're failing?" He graduated from UF so I'm going to hit him up for a recommendation. Contemperary Social Problems class seems like the material is going to be really fun and interesting but my teacher is so scatterbrained.
Home life is pretty good. Almost everything is settled (except for the fact that I have no cable, internet, or house phone yet) My mom is already not getting along with the neighbors, they are so redneck it's annoying. Next Saturday Damien is coming over (YAY!!)
In short: College is easy. I have a 500 word paper to write, and 2 chapters to read and that's it. I still have to get a palm pilot for stats.
