OMG I am going to be a stepmom!
um where to begin. I am dating this wonderful Man named Mike.. who I have so much in common with that it is scary. He is a truck driver. Last week his ex called him and told him she wanted him to pick up his 2 daughters. They are staying with us for at least 4 months if not longer. We only had a weeks notice. he was in Michigan cleaning out his storage unit when she called. so instead of being able to head straight back home, he had to go to NC to pick up the girls.. I feel so bad for him having to drive cross country with the 2 little ones. the youngest just turned 2. The oldest is 4. meanwhile back at the ranch I am scrambling trying to come up with bare necessity items like, beds, potty training stuff, high chairs, safety gates and strollers since I know little legs get tired easy. Not to mention the clothes. she only packed 1 week worth of clothes for the girls. and then neglected to pack more then 1 pair of underwear for the oldest. I am excited and yet I am very scared at teh same time. I will end up being the main caregive while my honeyis out on the road working. With the girls living here we can't afford him to stop driving. so life will be very very interesting for me.
