word of mouff - bad habits
"dont say you will when you know you won't.
dont say you may, but you know you don't"

you* have 'em. i* have 'em. we* all have 'em. bad habits i mean.
but as the new year rolls up, and begins, shouldn't we leave nasty habits in 2005
and embrace new and better habits, for a new and better year?

*speak up!
- if you want something, tell 'em , straight, no games and NO CHASERS PLZ. if you aint tryna hear dat, say so! let em know. be strong, and make sure ppl know where you stand.

*listen!
- dont tune people out, even if your pissed off. let them explain the situation to you. if you weren't there, listen up. i am not saying forgive them right off the bat, but listen to them. then make the right verdict. listen to your mind && heart.

*keep it real!
- be yourself and just be REAL! take a damn break on those habits that keep you from being yourself - your natural self. if you have naturally curly hair, step away from the straightening iron for a day, and see how you like your hair curly. see how you like it. if god blessed you with curls, sport them to the fullest. this is the same for fake nails, weaves, fake eye colors etc. be real with others, and with yourself!.

*stop playin' those same ol' games!
- just say NO! dont beat around the bush, and dont avoid your shit! and don't bullshit your way out of mess. communication is not playing silly word games. " those who are good at making excuses are seldom good for anything else! "

*be in charge!
- be responsible for your wrongs, and learn from them, so you won't make the same mistakes over && over. be on top of your shit! run your game, and be the boss! don't let yourself slip. if you do a halfass job, your shit will turn out half ass. but if you stay on top of your shit, your shit will be on the top.

*be straight!
- give it to ppl straight! let them know whats up. tell them who, what, when, where, and why. let them whats on your mind. don't half ass, because it never really is beneficial for either sides of the party. and i am not saying be overly harsh and hurt everyone's feelings who asks a question. just tell them how it is && give it straight. if they are real, then they can respect it.
