Tomorrow is COUCH WEDNESDAY
I'm so excited. I bought a couch this weekend. I at 25 years of age bought my first couch. Surprisingly I realize so late. But I've either had used, or roomie's couches or just chairs for quite some time. I actually feel like an adult. In my excitement I have renamed April 19, 2006 as 'Couch Wednesday'. Me and my sister think it sounds like a Roman Catholic holiday like Ash Wednesday. So I have decided it's not a religious holiday, but a civic one in Alberta everytime April 19th is on a Wednesday. My friend E has further gone to say that everytime April 19th hits a Wednesday I should get a new or update my present couch wherever I may be in life. It truly is a new idea.
I guess I'm excited because I feel like once the paintings and couch is in my apartment, I will start to start loosing that student feel and actually have stuff I like in here. I have some nice stuff and some I don't like right now.. but its definitely a start. But who knows... until then I'm ridiculously excited for the arrival of my couch tomorrow.
So tomorrow if you think of it.. Celebrate Couch Wednesday! I know I will be.
