With Taiwei's fingers intertwined with hers, Lingling felt like she was walking on air - especially since Taiwei had initiated the hand hold today. Her smile glowed more than dazzled, and she was just so happy to be with Taiwei and to love and to know and be shown that she was loved in return that the predicament with Junbao was shoved into the farthest region of her mind - for the moment.
Fingering the nearest piece of clothing, which was a sari, she turned to Taiwei with her sweetest smile and asked, "Do you have an idea which ethnicity we should go for? Any you prefer? I'll make sure to pick out something beautiful~"
Taiwei blinked as he eyed the sari, reaching out a hand to feel the fabric as well.
"I suppose we can go with other parts of Asia," he replied, still observing the sari and pondering. He turned to her, and with the expression on his face noticeably relaxed at seeing her smile, said, "Or what you would like."
"Oh?" Her lips spread into a playful smile. "What I would like, hmm?" Hearing him say that made her gleeful.
It wouldn't be nice to tease him when he was feeling so giving, but where was the fun in that? Covering her mouth with her other hand to keep from laughing, she tugged Taiwei over to where the Scottish clothing was kept. "How about a kilt for you?"
Taiwei raised his eyebrows at the Scottish kilts in front of his eyes. He was quiet for a moment, before he mumbled incredulously, "I didn't think you liked that."
He gave a little sigh, one of slight relief. "Yes, something less shocking," he said, furrowing his eyebrows now to erase the image of himself in a kilt before he looked away from the outfit.
He eyed the other area of the store that they hadn't gone through, and looked at her. "Come, you haven't examined those." He pulled her along lightly as he began to walk in that direction.
Lingling couldn't help the giggles that escaped her lips. It really was so much fun to throw Taiwei for a loop.
But really, Lingling really did want them to wear something majestic or elegant together. They would be like a royal pair. She would make sure of it.
"Let's see," she murmured. "We could always go with what you suggested and go with other Asian countries. We already know we look incredible in most of the Asian traditional wear~"
Taiwei felt like he was going back years in time when he could, without a care, act the same around Lingling as he was now--no need to worry about another presence taking her away, though he knew during all those years that she was looking for Tiger, somehow and always.
Putting the thought away to the back of his mind for now, he stopped by the part of the store that advertised Japan, letting his gaze drift to the yukata.
"These are light for summer," he said, running a hand through the fabric again.
Surveying the yukata, Lingling walked back and forth in front of and around the selection of them -- or as much as she could while still holding Taiwei's hand and not tugging him along.
Her lips pursed in thought before she shook her head. "No, they're too common. I want something to make us dazzle~"
Dazzle. The word barely registered in Taiwei's mind before he thought to himself, well, he wasn't exactly expecting to get away with a plain looking outfit.
"Mm," he said, looking over the stunning pair of kimono hanging from the top. The one for the man had a violet tinge to the blue, and the one for the woman, a gleaming scarlet-gold.
"They're acceptable," he said, the tone of his voice giving approval.
Lingling called over the nearest employee to get the the kimonos in the appropriate sizes, and once the kimono were purchased and paid for, she turned to Taiwei, simply glowing.
"I can't wait for this," she said, her voice soft and full of something indescribable.
He looked at her for a while, with her just there and him standing in front of her. The tiniest of smiles was on Taiwei's mouth as he lifted his hand to brush his thumb against her cheek.
"It's good you're looking forward to it," he replied, taking the big bag of two kimono onto his other hand from the employee.

Laughing again, she continued, "But don't worry~ I do think we should dress in something a little classier than that."

"Let's go back to my room," she suggested. "I want to spend more time with you~" She wouldn't mind spending forever with him.
