So since about the start of last weekend, I wanted to start studying for my finals, but first, I had to get the final quizzes and crap for my Intro to Macroeconomics class done. Usually, to do so, I feel the need to read throughout the chapters, so I read through over 100 pages. Freakin pain in the ass. Reading 100 pages of Macroeconomics makes 100 pages of AP US History seem freakin fun as hell. So yeah, it took me a long time to get over Macroeconomics.. actually, the whole freakin weekend.
So then, Monday comes, I spend the whole day studying for Intro to C Programming, which I dunno why I wasted my day on that b/c I did not gain anything at all through that study day. What I knew before I started studying, and what I knew afterwards, didn't change one bit. Shiet. Tuesday comes, and I take my English Comp 2 and C Programming class. I did fine.
So I planned on spending the rest of the night studying for Calculus 3 and Macroeconomics, but did I? Nope. I decided I'd spend the whole next day studying, instead. Wednesday morning, I wake up. Holy crap my nose is running like crazy. I end up stopping every 5 minutes to blow my nose to the point where it gets sore. Blah, turns out I got a freakin cold. Totally bad timing there, b/c I seriously need to study so bad to get a good(or actually, extremely good) grade on my finals b/c I was really borderline on the rest of my classes. The whole important day ended up being a total nightmare. I took some allergy medicine. Bad idea. Around 7:00pm I was so ready to pass out, but I kept on fighting.
Thursday, today, rolls around, I wake up early. I'm all prepped, got my Starbucks vanilla frappucino to drink on the way to class. I get there. Calculus 3 exam starts. How did I do? I left a few questions blank, but the number of questions I left blank plus the few that I may have gotten wrong were enough to knock me from a passing grade overall in the class, which totally pisses me off b/c I looked back at my first test which I got a freakin 46 on, and I'm like, "holy shit, this stuff is so freakin easy, why did I get a bad score on this?"(Not to mention we had this simple 20pt extra credit assignment that ended up being a total freebie, but I didn't turn in anything for it b/c I forgot, so I didn't get any of those points, how'd that freakin miracle pass by me?) So I dunno. Shiet. Oh, and Intro to Macroeconomics? Meh. Unless the teacher decides to throw in like... say.. 20 extra credit points, then I definitely didn't pass that class either.
So overall? I took 4 classes this semester. It is highly likely that I only passed 2. Passing only half of my classes. Not good, and that's a total understatement. Freakin' fuck my laziness. I'm super-tired now b/c I've been freaking out for the rest of the day, b/c I've never failed a class before, let alone 2. The sad part is, it looks like I'll have to take Calculus 3 again for a 3rd time. The REAL sad thing about it, is that for both last semester and this semester, Calculus 3 was the easiest of all my other classes. Wow, what a wake up call this whole day has been.
Whatever, freak it. From what I learned in the past 2 weeks. I definitely still got it in me. I can still study hard if I actually try. Alright now, I'm definitely going to make straight A's next semester. My GPA is going to recover from this heavy damage.
So yeah, my month-long winter break has begun.
