A much needed retreat it was this weekend, I needed the break. Though
I know many of you deserved it as well. This was a break from my surroundings.
Praise God, He reunited my family this weekend.
Longing for the reuniting of my family, I had mixed feelings
about this gathering. That was stupid. It was a family gathering, a wedding
feast! My aunt got remarried.
As i watched from the brides side of the room i looked into the eyes of what
would in seconds be my future uncle Dan. His eyes wide upon with joy, his cheeks rose red,
When he spoke, a quiver a tremble resounded from within his lips.
His eyes showed humility. Yet I had not known him prior to this most sacred event,
I believe...having trouble finding the words...I believe what I saw in his eyes and shaped
from his lips was something beautiful. It was true, it was geniune, it was an expression
of true love.
In those moments i shared in their happiness, and was very thankful for their uniting.
