Vala was in the kitchen with William and Daniel, tied as he was to her, was in the rec room with his laptop. It wasn't quite the same as actually being there to see the book. It wasn't the same at all, but he had to make do. He rubbed at the bracelet on his wrist and then at his temple. He was fairly sure he was getting a headache, but he wasn't sure whether it was a real headache or just tension. He kind of hoped it was the former. If it was the latter, it wasn't going to go away any time soon.

After enough time staring at the same screen and not understanding even the English there, he shut the laptop with a sigh. It looked like he wasn't going to get any work done until he got rid of his headache.
