Still in the mindset to change gears for a bit. And now, I think I know what I want to write for the time being. Or well, I know what wants to be written. Whether I really want to write it, well... That's something I'm unsure of. Either way, enjoy this chapter. :)

And this is where being royalty just sucks, though Jazz obviously isn't giving into Casio's marriage demands! Jazz has a point with how his marrying a woman and having a bunch of male lovers on the side would NOT make him or the Empire look good.

Is adoption an option for producing an heir? Why exactly is it so important to Casio that Jazz marry a woman, as opposed to marrying a man and adopting? If same-sex marriage is allowed, is adoption by same-sex couples allowed? Does Casio object to the idea of Jazz's marrying a guy because of Jazz's promiscuity? I still agree with Jazz that marrying a woman wouldn't help!

I was like "oh shit" when Savin appeared at Jazz's apartment. Jazz and Savin were sweet in their little scene together, though.

Yeah, he had a very good point with that.

Adoption, I think, is an option -- but even for the Emperor, there's a lot of hassle and paperwork involved. It may just be that while same-sex marriage is legal, being gay is still something that people are discriminated for. Just cause it's legal for them to marry doesn't mean the discrimination does not exist -- and considering Mitchel wanted to keep their relationship quiet, well...

They were, weren't they? There's just so much shit that's about to go down around them. I guess this marriage thing will be their first true "test."
