what is love?
my sister asked a good question on her LJ. she asked "what is love?" after thinking, i came up with this answer:
to love a person meas to accept the faults; to look past the flaws, to have a connection soul to soul not just person to person; to be able to just sit and look at each other and be happy; to communicate without the need/use of words; to share laughter, pain, tears, joy, comfort and stories. the ultimate love, or soul mate, may not be your significant other but your best friend. it does not have to be a lover, it can be a family member, a good friend, or just someone you have yet to meet. when you meet this person you will not know it instantly, but as soon as they are gone from your life, you will not be able to go on. to love is to be filled with life. love your friends. love your family. love your lovers. love yourself.
