One Step Closer
For those not in the know, I've been working to get at least an interview for at least an internship at ESPN Studios. I got an email saying they were coming to campus next week and decided to throw my hat into the ring. So far it's been pretty simple. I registered online, submitted my resume and requested an interview. I was slightly nervous about my resume simply because I don't have any applicable sports experience. However, yesterday I got the call, and after a couple minutes on the phone and a brief quiz, I was set up for an assessment of my sports knowledge. Last night I took said assessment. Believe me, when they say elite sports knowledge is required, they meant it. They were very thorough with what they were looking for, and they only give a short amount of time to boot. Well, I was prepared and went with it. I managed to send it back with a minute to spare. So now again I wait. I'm guessing it'll be Monday before I hear anything, so that gives me time to sweat and pray. I hope all of you will do the same for me.
