Ho shit.
It's been an entire YEAR since I updated (blink blink)
I guess a simple "my bad" doesn't really cover the extent of dead time on this one. Haha.
WELL.
Since I last updated:
[x] i've since moved out of my "new" apartment.
actually, i got evicted since me and the landlord had a bit of a falling out over his maintenance policies. he felt he didn't have to do any, i felt i didn't have to pay. haha. it worked out in the end, however. and i moved out.
[x] i'm still with my boyfriend.
his name is Lucas. Lucas Laughner. he's from Indiana, I got together with him through his ex-girlfriend\my best friend for 8 years. (she figured since it didn't work with them, he was more my type, heehee. turns out she was right, woowee. it's been almost a year and a half now, and even though we've had some rough patches, we're still strong. :D
[x] still have all those old friends.
and i got some newer ones as well. one benefit to job hopping, traveling, and having a tendency to talk alot while drinking is new friends. haha.
[x] i moved to indiana.
didn't work out quite the way lucas and i expected, a lot of things went wrong, so as of right now i'm actually moving back to texas until we can plan things a bit better and have a bit of an easier way to normalcy. that's our main goal right now, we simply want normal: a house, family, regular life. so we keep on trucking and dreaming :) :)
[x] i've been job hopping a LOT. haha
after I quit working at Starbucks, I got lazy for awhile before I went back to work. I felt after saving up all that money.. i deserved a break. not a smart move, but it was fun :) first it was Sonic, a drive-in fast food joint where I wore skates. heehee. then i worked at WEST phone call center, then CHASE bank, then QVC call center in customer service. then i took another break to figure things out, then started dancing at a cabaret on a fancy whim. all in all, it was an odd resume-filling year.
[x] been considering joining the coast guard.
still not sure, but i think it might be a good future choice...
[x] also been considering going back to school.
i want to go for business so i can open my own cafe one day. also for writing or design, since i still have a passion for both.
Wow, it seems like a lot less when I type it out. Sure felt like a full year though. Definitely another to chock up to the memory books. :D
Sooo... not sure if I'm going to be moving into my Mom's to help out until my own apartment is set up, or being a roomie with my friend Lindsey yet. Either way, I should have internet at my disposal :) That'll rock. Hopefully I'll be able to update much more.
I'm hoping to get back into some RP writing, and bring back my old website WHPenguin. Maybe start a small online business to help pay for cable and such. Hmmm.. it's a brand new start. I'm almost excited, although I am sad about leaving.
Today, though... I feel emo for absolutely no reason. Haha.
