MALFOY.

I swear to god, I know it was you because it's always you. If you destroy any more stuff of Hermione's SPEW stuff you'll regret the day you ever learned how to use a simple Incendio. You have five minutes to clean this up before any more students get upset about your bloody transfigured socks that you set on fire. You're disgusting, Malfoy ( Read more... )

Who says it was Malfoy?

I think Potter's fixated.

I think he is, too. In my opinion, maybe a little too fixated.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

If you're thinking what I believe you're thinking, then yes. However, I'm afraid that the possibility is a bit hard to comprehend given all that we've witnessed during our years at school.

Oh, I definitely think it's a possibility. You've seen how Scarhead looks at him.

They do say that it's a fine line between, well, I assume you know. Also, Potter does seem a bit more 'intense' this year.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees that. I thought I may be going crazy for a while, but I think this confirms it.

Yes, well, Potter hasn't ever been particularly subtle, even if the fact that the majority of the student body rarely knows what he's on about might work in his favour.

I think his declaring that 'it's always' Draco in this very post is a bit much, personally.

Well, Potter has always been a big baby who wants everyone on his side.

Yes, I think it makes it all too clear, now.

Considering that I don't know Potter personally, I can't say if that's entirely true or not, but it can sometimes appear that way. However, the sudden mental image of Potter using his feminine wiles to lure a certain someone to his side is an interesting image.

No it isn't and I, for one, am greatly disturbed at the very idea of it.

It's subjective; I find it an interesting, yet extremely unlikely notion; you don't. However, if our conversation is really so uncomfortable for you, I'm sure we can either stop talking about it or take our discussion elsewhere.

It's not because the subject makes me uncomfortable, it is more like it makes me sick to my stomach. Something I think is perfectly understandable.

Did you finish the homework for tomorrows Potions lesson? Professor Slughorn in beginning to annoy the piss out of me.

Hm. Point taken.

Yes, I have. Have you? However, I find myself in agreement with you on your stance on Professor Slughorn. Honestly, while I know that Professor Dumbledore hasn't been particularly vigilant in the past about his Professor selections, I have no idea why he would reassign Professor Snape and then welcome such a lackluster replacement. His blatant favouritism and his often frivolous lessons are trying on the patience.

Good.

I've managed to write about two and a half inches, so far. Of course professor Dumbledore hired an oaf like Slughorn, it just wouldn't be proper if there were no one to fawn over our resident hero, now would it? Father always did warn me about professor Slughorn. He said there was something off about him and I have to agree.

As you have already proven that you know the assignment is due tomorrow, I'll simply ask if there's any extraordinary reason why you've only managed that much thus far? Also, I'm not entirely sure that the sole reason Professor Slughorn is here is to fawn over Potter, though it certainly seems that way at times. I've been finding Potter's sudden proficiency at Potions suspicious, as well.

I simply have no idea why Professor Dumbledore hired Horace Slughorn when it would stand to reason that there are better teachers than he in Wizarding Britain.
