"...the faithful will be delivered..."

Okay, so it's Tuesday, but it's like Tuesday is wearing one of Monday's t-shirts. C'mon, figure it out, it makes so much sense.

Anywho, my weekend in brief. [see disclaimer in my user info]

On Friday I got out of work (work sucked that day), and picked up Tyler, took him home, and he went to bed pretty early. This weekend was pretty awesome with him, he was always happy the whole time, and did not scream at me once. [as opposed to his recent terrible two-esque behavior] We had a lot of fun. Friday night a bunch of people came over, I'm not sure I could really name them all though. Eh, what are ya gonna do?

On Saturday, Aimee [whom most of you do not know] brought over her little boy Caleb, he's 2 months older than Tyler. They were actually really cruel to each other, lots of face grabbing, throwing toys at each other, pushing, kids are so mean. Then Aimee came back later on Saturday night and that was pretty cool. Aimee's a new friend of mine, we went to school together, but I never knew her in school at all.

Plus on Saturday, Christa returned some cds she had borrowed over a year ago! I was so excited, 3 of my favorite cds of all time:

anathallo - luminious luminesence in the atlas position
The Juliana Theory - Understand This is a Dream
Further Seems Forever - The Moon is Down / Dashboard Confessional - Swiss Army Romance
[granted, the third cd is a burned one, but it was still very nice to get it back]

Sunday, Tyler's mom picked him up around 12, and I basically loafed around the house for a while. Later on Tony and I hit up Forbidden City and that was tight. Some other stuff happened and then we all came back to my house. Ryan [P.], Booler, and Tony all stayed at my place on Sunday night. O

The new band practiced again yesterday, from around 11:30/12:00 until 5. It was a very enjoyable and productive practice. We now have 3 finished songs, this is all turning out so well, very exciting.

A sweet passage which very well sums up a song that we wrote yesterday:

"But as for me, my prayer is to You, oh Lord, in the acceptable time; oh God, in the multitude of Your mercy, hear me in the truth of Your salvation. Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink; let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters. Let not the floodwater overflow me, nor let the deep swallow me up; and let not the pit shut its mouth on me."

Psalm 69:13-15

"Give me the strength to weather the storm, protect me now Lord, and keep me from harm."

Well, that's all. Even I think this entry was lame.
