Ireland!
So Dublin is pretty awesome. I've never lived in a city, so it pretty much rocks. There are multiple theatres all of which are showing things right now. I want to go to all the shows, but I know it's impossible. Instead I will attend as many as possible, perhaps one a week. Also the drama club seems to be really active at DCU (Dublin City University). There is also a hiking club which goes on hiking trips around the country! And there's an equestrian club! Oh, we went on this tour yesterday and had a totally adorable guide. His fly started to unzip as we kept going and he had monkeys on his underwear!
On another note, DCU had so much red tape bullshit I really want to hurt every person in the international office. Since Katrina and I are here as physics exchange students we can only take courses in the sciences. Which means my two theatre lit courses are out the window. But according to this system Katrina and I would also be banned from any Computer Science courses and any engineering courses. naksdl;jfgiae;ngvkasdl;vjari;vjkdfsnvreignjvkfl;nvir;lnjakvl;nkral;djginvrabnutlrehagjkl;jfgoeiaw;
Today we had a workshop about the English studies courses and the professors were encouraging exchange students to take the courses, especially some that did not have English as a first language. But over half of the people there would be unable to take the courses due to the aforementioned bullshit. So the professors got really disgusted and then started saying that they had to get it fixed. Meanwhile the international office lady was being indignant and saying that was the rule and blah blah blah. I seriously want to punch her. She is totally not the top of the food chain. I need to figure out who is so that person can eat her. I'm sure the professors will help me.
Also Katrina hasn't been able to move in yet. WTF?
And coke doesn't have high fructose corn syrup in it here. Actually, nothing does. Score.
Now we will go to a bar and make Katrina purchase some alcohol, which Emily and I will probably finish for her. But she has to buy one! It's her 21st birthday!
