Since last I saw you
January?? I haven't posted here since JANUARY?!? Day-um folks. Since then I (in no particular order): went to the emergency room, found out I had gallstones, had my gallbladder removed, gave in to Blockbuster online service, went to a Ren fair, lost my cat of 10 years to lung disease, had a speaking part in both our Imbolc and Ostara circles, lost 30 pounds, sold something out of my Etsy online store, cut my hair shorter than it's been in years, visited an amusement park and whooped it up at my grandfather's 94th birthday party. I expect that gentleman to outlive us all.
We're heading down to San Antonio for Memorial Day, and apparently we won't be driving! The husband's sister flies a Cessna, and will tote us down there just for the hell of it. I can't freakin wait, I need a little vacation in the worst way. And since I'm at a new job, I won't have more time off than a 3 day weekend for nearly a year. Le sigh.
We decided that in lieu of any real vacation, we would get a season pass to the local amusement park, and spend the summer as roller coaster junkies.
I promise I won't wait 5 months to write again. :)
