[He looks unusually stoic. There's a dry smile on his face. Bitter almost...?]

I've never been told by someone that they love me before.

[Smile fades somewhat.]

But now they're gone. [His eyes flit off the screen.] So I guess it doesn't really matter. [A pause. No, he will not look at the camera.] Tch. It was probably..Stockholm's Syndrome ( Read more... )

Haaa... you had a personal relationship then?

I don't think the person that left could've helped the leaving part. If people could do that, they'd leave of their own will all the time.

Not really. [Hm.] Not sure what I would define it as.

Nope. I don't hold it against him. It's fine really. It was just sort of an ironic situation.

Then you just miss them, right?

You're looking strangely thoughtful, and you're refusing to look directly at a screen you're talking to.

I guess so. They were my secretary~. Now who is going to do everything I don't want to? [Pout.]

Eh. That doesn't really mean anything at all~.

... What do you do anyway. You mentioned an office a couple of times before.

Says you, but that's strange even for someone like you.

I'm a bit of an informant. There's not too much to do in this uncorrupt city but I keep myself busy.

Oh? And why is that? [He knows exactly why but he's pretty impressed by the twelve year old's awareness. It's like a little him.]

I find it hard to believe that this city is entirely uncorrupted. There's bound to be some instances to look into. Afterall, most adults are terrible people that do many bad things.

Why is that? It's because you're that type of person. Even if you have things to hide, you still face people directly in order to let them know you don't have a weakness. Acting like that leaves room for vulnerability.

Most adults? Quite the accusation don't you think? But you're right.

What if you're merely trying to make people believe you to be vulnerable, nn? Playing the victim really does earn quite the amount of trust.

It's just something I've noticed with the adults I've dealt with.

Haa... I guess that would be an option. In one end, it would be predictable to show vulnerability and admit it for that purpose. It's another to show hints of it and deny it. Might draw in some more gullible people that way~

You also come from a pretty unusual universe, I'd say.

Nn. Are you telling me how to manipulate people? [Haaaa] Well either way. You're right~.

I guess so, but it's the only other one I've known personally~

No, not really. I think if you really wanted to do that you're fully capable~~

Poor Natsuo. Having such a twisted view of humanity. [Such a shame.]

Oh good. I'm happy to hear that you have faith in me like that~.

Maybe I am. I can't help it though~. You are only twelve. And to be fair, I talk down to most people.

It's not like anyone ever makes me talk up to them.
